Our Anniversary!!

FOR RELEASE:

Italian restaurant Nonna Silvia’s features heart shaped ravioli & pizza for its tenth year!

Park Ridge, IL –February 5th, 2011 Nonna Silvia’s is celebrating 10 years of serving Park Ridge and its surrounding neighborhoods. The restaurant is named after the owners’ grandmother Silvia Giannini. In Italy, grandmothers have been known to be the best chefs, Silvia being from the region of Abruzzi, brought over her recipes to share with her children and grand children. Over the years chefs/owners Steve Marti and John Giannini have had the pleasure of making heart shaped pizzas and handmade heart shaped lobster ravioli for the Valentine’s Day season. “It was requested ten years ago by one of our first customers and has been a hit ever since.” The popularity of these romantically inspired dishes has grown throughout the years. We offer these pizzas and pasta for carry out and delivery, as well as dine in. While dining in at Nonna Silvia’s on any given night you are likely to see a friend, a neighbor, or even a relative. This cozy little place offers traditional Italian dishes with a modern flare, while still keeping true to their family roots. “We would love to share this with your viewers/readers. We welcome you to come by and try us out.”

Nonna Silvia’s prides itself on being “Park Ridge’s favorite choice for Italian cuisine.” The use of fresh ingredients, historic Italian recipes and specialty wines, offers diners a small taste of Italy. All of this, combined with a relaxing ambiance featuring a Tuscan-inspired interior, culminates to a genuinely Italian experience.
